Forks hitting frame on kona stinky

I have just fitted some 66rc2 eta forks to my 2006 stinky and i have found that they hit the downtube if you try and spin the forks all the way round. Can anyone help me with this problem CHEERS!

you need to fit a new headset.
with a dropped lower cup.
