Astana seems to want to make a point with this race - they brought an impressive roster and I reckon they'll dominate the team standings...0

But no team has sent the team Astana has as others are using it for preparation for bigger races. Surely it is a little early for Astana to prepare for the Vuelta?0
-
Kloedn should be pulled out of the race this morning.0
-
Contador winning a 10k TT ahead of Leipheimer and Dekker?! Someone is a) on form or b) making a point.0
-
or c) received a big box of vitamins0
-
Is that rule still in place? If you win, it's still about what you took? Pip Gilbert must be on one hell of a program, then!0
-
I reckon its a mixture of A + B
To be honest tho.. Astana have missed a good few races that other teams have been riding at so I reckon we should expect good things from them.. I hope they do well in any of their races.. It just makes everything a bit more exiting..0 -

Good result for Soler.
He's coming back from injury isn't he?Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
interesting results. Astana will liven up small races than TDF this eyar as they have less opportunity to gain attention-they will trounce everyone at Vuelta.0

Yeap, i think he is one of main favourites for the Giro.
The speaker said today there is a small chance that Astana will race the Giro (he didn´t said why)If you like Flandes, Roubaix or Eroica, you would like GP Canal de Castilla, www.gpcanaldecastilla.com0 -
Will Astana do the Dauphiné in June?0

Titanium wrote:Will Astana do the Dauphiné in June?
According to their newly launched website, yes.
http://www.astana-cyclingteam.com/Schedule_Results.aspx0 -
Interesting. They set the Dauphiné on fire last summer, their riders were doing extraordinary things and many watchers were raising eyebrows. But no one was caught until Vino was rousted a month later, so they can come back.
Nice to see Levi blow today. I'm kinda indifferent about Contador winning but at least he attacks. If Cadel Evans rides safe, Levi rides boring. I want to believe in Soler but my inner cynic holds me back.0 -
I guess they did not embarrass the 'race' by getting caught, or winning it0
