mount rear disc on frame _without_ is mount

Hi all,

I am new to the forum. I've read the sticky topics and used the search but I could not find straight answer to the following question:

Is it somehow possible to mount a rear disc brake (Avid juicy 7) onto a frame which doesn't have the IS mount? See picture.

    using an A2Z uni adapter it might be possible on that frame. links to A2Z in the tech links sticky.

    Thanx for the quick reply! I have emailed A2Z to ask them if adapter DM-UNI will help me.

    If anybody has any other idea's, please let me know!

  • i used an a2z on my old frame for years with no problems! , only issue was that to remove thw eheel you had to pulkl the squewer completely out, (not great issue though!!) got mine through woollyhatshop.com for about £15 iirc??
