xc riding Nottingham / Peak District
Hi, i am looking for training partner / partner's for xc riding around Nottm, i am currently riding out at Sherwood Pines at weekends trying to build up my fitness but i can't wait to get out to the Peaks, if anyone is interested in joining a unfit (getting fitter) 35 yo for some xc riding get in touch. I also like being on the trails pretty early 9-10am to avoid the crowds so if any of this is your bag, let me know. cheers, Dean

There's a load of regulars up at the pines, usually can be seen around the shop / cafe around 9-10 sat / sun
Or, if you come up on a wednesday night we do a group ride from the shop 6 - 6:30ish
There is a crowd that goes up to the peaks too on the odd sundayScott Scale Custom

Make it up as you go along tbh, there's loads of trails that wind between the main fireroads. You'll probably stumble across the new xc trail, it's not waymarked yet but you'll know when your on it, narrow bare earth trail which looks man-made. If you find it follow that, some cracking bits.Scott Scale Custom
