Melrin Malt 4 from Melrin Cycles with 2008 XT Groupset upgrade. Cracking VFM. There are many happy owners of them on these forums too."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

Loads of people recommend Merlin & GT on here. I have a Cube Ltd race and its fantastic, got it on Friday after ordering November last year. Gr8 kit for the money, Reba fork (got mine extended by LBS to 100mm) Oro K18 brakes (best in test in April MBUK) Easton finishing kit, XT hubs and rear mech, LX front mech and shifters. Schwalbe tyres.
Its very light! and the blue and white looks 100x better in real life compared to the crap image on CRC. Not been off road yet due to crap bank holiday weather
I am 6’4 so got 20” frame after testing the 18 and 20 inch. The only thing I am considering is swapping the 1’ riser bar for a 2, LBS said they will do for free at 1st service if I decide. (due to me being tall, needing a higher seat and not wanting the 22")
I would recommend sitting on it if you can before buying, I tested, Trek, GT, Orange, Marin, the Cube suited me perfect. (Apart from the bars being a little low) Its very much a XC bike, so I guess it also depends what you want to ride?
