crank bro's egg beaters/shimano

Hi,

Can anyone tell me, are the shimano spd cleats compatible with crank brothers egg beater pedals?

    i am glad you asked that as i was thinkig the same question!!!
    oddly though, swapped bikes with a mate the other week who had egg beaters and neither of us could clip in with the same ease as our own bikes but both on the same pedals!!

    it's probably the way that the cleats and the pedals 'broke in' together, therfore creating a personal match.

    I dropped a bo!!ock, bought a new set of egg beaters on ebay and didnt even think of it till id paid for them.

    I have 2 bikes with Shimano SPD's and one pair of shoes, now I either re-sell the egg beaters or put them on a bike and get a new pair of shoes. Shouldnt be so trigger happy after a couple of beers on ebay!!

    Now lets see what shoes they've got on wiggle :lol:

    haha! the joys of impulse buying hey!!
    chain reaction have the clips for egg beaters and had a cracking dwal on cannondale mtb shoes too!!!
    must be nice to have a pair of shoes per bike!!!
