the bike looks OK physically, but there seems to be a lot of cheap/unbranded components on it, im not saying thats a bad thing but maybe you should be thinking about the longevity of the bike. What are you using it for? If you plan on using it regularly to go trailriding in the woods then it might be worth saving a few more pennies and buying a more expensive bike that will last you longer. but your question is really vague what sort of riding do you do?? how often??luke0

i mostly ride round the lakes and a few trails.
i use it about 2 to 3 times mouth0 -
so if your mainly doing cross country riding your may want to opt for a hardtail around that same price cause then you will have better components and equipment on it for around the same sort of money but if you feel you need a full sus bike i would most deffiinatly save up a bit more money and get a more descent bike, you could probably find some really good deals in the sales.. another bit of advice would be to test ride the bikes go to a bike shop and ask them what they think the best bike for you is and for you budgetluke0

Its got the basics in place, a damped shock and fork, but look at the all up weight - 34lbs. Thats going to be felt over a long ride.0

i would i like a full sus. what would you recomend for more or less than £5000

Its a price point I'd usually recommend steering away from for the reasons luke listed, as to fit in all the extra gubbins the spec takesa a big hit usually which has a more noticable effect in this price bracket. Are some good last year bargains about - test if you can. GT Idrives are worth lloking at, especially the XC40

If you are lucky you may be able to get a Trance from Pauls cycles cheaply. They usually sell off last years models for a bargain. Streako

There's a few FS bikes you could get for around £750-£800 (2007 Kona King Kikapu for instance) but less than this and really you would be better off with a hardtail unless you're going second hand.0

The spec is not as good as it will be on a hardtail, it will also be very heavy. A hardtail will give you much better kit for the same amount, and probably a more enjoyable riding experience."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

wat would you reccomend for a full sus but at the cheapest price and spec0
