Wheel wear question

I have a pair of rigida flyers with a sticker on showing a rim wear indicator. On one side of the front wheel the rim has worn to the arrow, however the other side has about another 1 cm. So are my rims worn or can these indicators be missleading? I would say I have done 5000 on these rims.

    The wear indicator will be on the braking surface of the rim. Probably a small drilling part way through the rim. If you can still see it the rim is OK. The stickers are just to point out where the indicators are. If you can still see the indicator on one side then the rim will probably be OK to use untill the other one disappears as they are fairly conservative.
