hi,
can anyone help me out by telling me what travel a giant STP frame would take due to its geometry?
thanks :D

why? what you thinking of adding? Approx 100mm max.

    hmm ok thankyou,

well, i am hoping to build a cheap freeride/jumper just to have spare (as a load of us have built lots of jumps in my back garden!) and i can get a Giant STP 2004 frame free. I guess 100mm travel would do.

but i was thinking about if i wanted to step up to freeride and buy a larger travel fork and use it for bigger things eg. 6foot drop offs

Use a tough short travel fork i.e. an Argyle.
