Child Friendly Off road around Portsmouth??
Hi
I am heading to Portsmouth to visit friends for a few days and was wondering if anyone knew of an off road route suitable for kids (6 & 8 so not too extreme)in the area?
Thanks

Mark, There are some family routes at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, which is to the north of Portsmouth on the A3. A bit further north is Alice Holt Forest Park which also has easy routes plus other activities. The are some maps on the Hampshire CC website which you can download as well.0

There is a nice "Sustrans" route called the "Hayling Billy" near Havant, drop off at one end and pick up at the other, or picnic and return...http://www3.hants.gov.uk/haylingbilly.pdfHe that buys land buys many stones.
He that buys flesh buys many bones.
He that buys eggs buys many shells,
But he that buys good beer buys nothing else.
