Totally unconnected, but if I beat someone in with a D-lock, will it affected the warranty?

    Of course it is.......

If you get bits of blood and bone in the locking mechanism than it is hardly their fault.

Although less effective you should hold the lock by the mechanism and use the "D" to strike with.

Alternatively use a lock with a sliding seal protecting the mechanism allowing you to use the heavier part to its full effect.

now this has become a surreal thread...

Howeer Kryptonite have a good sluiding cover that will prevent bone getting in the mechanism, nice and heavy too.

And according to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, an illuminated red signal on a Toucan crossing "shall indicate the period during which, in the interests of safety, pedestrians and pedal cyclists should not use the crossing".

Too late to bother reading through TSRGD but wonder if the same wording is used for Pelican and Puffin crossings.

Of course the other option is to take out the lights..... then they wouldn't be red (would they)!
