LX M580 or SRAM PC970 Cassette.

Replacing my cassette and was going to get a LX M580 but looking on CRC and they have a Sram PC970 for a quid and was wondering if both cassettes are on par with one another or if ones better than the other interms of strength and wear?

I assume you mean a quid more/less, and not just a quid?

I run an LX cassette with SRAM chain, like a lot of people andnit works fine. The cassette doesn't seem to be wearing out. I changed from a SRAM and thought the shifting was slightlr smoother after the change. Not a lot in it though.

LX has better reviews.
