Dugast and Guinness. :D

Similarity = you have to wait for good things.

Difference = once you finish a Guinness its gone; once a Dugast tyre was worn down you send it back and they re-tread it for you [if you ask nicely].

I've had my old Roubaix tubulars returned yesterday with new treads. Further one of them was a brand spanking new item. And no charge! Reason:

"I am glad everything arrived well. You don't owe us anything because of the delay we have caused. You are a good customer of us and we want to have a good relationship between you and the A. Dugast company. This is how we want to apologize for the delay.

Kind regards,
Tamara Willems
A. Dugast"

I'm sure there are other bicycle related companies that place a priority on customer relations and service. Westcountry Recumbents are another company that I have had excellent relations with.
