xt front mech

hi guys looking for some help,im looking to get a new front mech and dont know the difference between the 770 and the 771 they are both 2008 top swing and multi pulli was using a lx multi pull top swing but just rebuilt patriot and lost some of the bits do decided to get a new one ,can anyone shed some light on this topic for me?? :oops:

    hi there it wasnt either of the ones shown it was an LX-M580 and want to upgrade as ive just bought a saints crankset new2008 xt shifters a new xt shadow rear mech andwantto get a new front, i lost the parts on the old one to,hope this helps :?

    770 is topswing
    771 is downswing
    Pics as per nicklouse's post above. Both are multi-pull.

    hi being as the m-580 is a top swing i think i will need the 770 but not sure?
