Seatpost question

I’m planning to replace my seatpost, mostly for cosmetic reasons, a couple of nasty scratches in the black anodised surface. The post is aluminium weighing in at around 250 g. You can get much lighter aluminium posts, but with a titanium frame, would there be any advantage in changing to carbon or even titanium? Any recommendations for a good seatpost?

    Scratches on a black seatpost...El cheapo way Airfix paint. £3 paint and brush, seatpost £20+
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
