anyone got or tried a trek 1.5 road bike

    I tried one briefly to size up a frame for a 1.7 and it seemed to ride pretty well to me, I should say however that I hadn't ridden a racer before so take anything I say with a pinch of salt!

    Personally I couldn't really get on with the Sora button shifters but there's plenty of people on these boards who have no issues with them. Best bet would be to give one a try somewhere if you can.
    How's that for a slice of fried gold?

    Got one -love it. The red paint is soo sexy - seems quite light -heavier than my Langster tho'....wheels, no probs after a couple of hundred miles, I'm not light....Now pimped up with red stem and Hope skewers -sigh -when will I learn....... :oops:

    Iv got one, rides good, looks good. Not got alot to compare it to though but very happy with my choice.

    I would say go to a dealer and check out the 1.2. 1.5 & 1.7.

    Which ever one you think is better suited to you and go for it.

    Gotta collect my trek 1.7 next week.

    I liked the 1.5 in the pics but when i saw the 1.7 which looked ugly in the pics i decided that was the one. So my advice is go to the shop and see.
