The BBC is showing three hours of the event (one hour on Wed, Thurs and Fri. On BBC 2 @ 7pm-8pm).
I also think they might show more highlights if you press the red button.
Can't wait.
WIsh I had taken the week off to go and watch in person nowThe first rule of cycling is - Tell everyone how great cycling is.

Any tips on what to look out for, pay special attention to etc..... are appreciated.0 -

make sure you attend the entire day, qualification can be boring but the riders need support then just as much as in the finals, cos lets face it without good quali they wouldnt make the final
plenty to do besides racing, dolan is running the velodrome shop and looks like manc velo have sorted out the food situation with the bars and grill open
the velodrome looks totally different, new scoreboards showing live tv of event etc and everywhere has had a lick of paint

My daughter and I will there on Saturday, got our tickets for that day ages ago because:
A) it looked the best mix of events - and with chances of British sccess
it's a long way to Manchester from Hampshire and that ruled out any of the evening sessions!
We have tickets for the back straight and know a little about what to expect having been to Revolution 19, and are both really looking forward to it.
Do they do the area the public can access in the middle for autographs etc for the Worlds? Doubt it - but my daughter loved that at Revolution!Chocolate makes your clothes shrink0 -

thanks for that, we plan to be there as early as we can. We're staying overnight, so won't be there bang on two as that is the earliest we can check into hotel, but will be there soon after.
In your opinion does it seem exciting enough to keep a 6 yo boy amused all day? Or should we take some extras to aid his amusement?0 -
