biking in manchester

I'm coming to Manchester and would appreciate some help with bike routes. Does anyone know if there any cycle paths from Hyde Road to the velodrome?

    It's only a short distance from Hyde Road to the Velodrome and Pottery Lane which changes to Alan Turing Way has cycle lanes most if not all of the route.

    Hyde Road itself is another matter though.

    You can also join the end of the Fallowfield loop nr Fitness First/Debdale Park on Hyde Road. Head North and a cycle path runs straight through to the Ashton canal and then down to the velodrome, its hybrid stuff rather than road bike though.
