Anyone else do a "fake" commute?!

My wife and I work from home, and have done for almost three years.
We've done a 10ish mile cycle "to work" (actually just a loop) before work to keep ourselves fit and wake up properly.
Now my wife is pregnant, it's just me but if I don't do it, I feels lazy.
Anyone else do the same?!

I do sometimes, but not regularly. I work from home 60% of the time, and only really do a morning loop if my head is feeling really overfilled. Great idea though.

Whenever I work from home, I do a fake commute. It switches me into working mode. Also, it forces me to take a shower. If I skip the commute, I end up lurking around the house in my less formal attireComputer geek, Manchester Wheelers' member since 20060

Ah, but it is a slight uphill on the way home.0 -
I've cycled to & from work on a Sunday morning when I couldn't think of a better route to go on... Does that count? There is no secret ingredient...0
