I am waiting for my first MTB to help get Fit and my Health hopefully back on track,
and can you tell me what Components I will likely need to upgrade in the near future
once I have progressed from Flat place like Richmond Park and other areas like that to get my fitness up and I am ready to try trails and Epping Forrest.
I have got a Main Wolf Ridge on ebay and the details are below, thanks in advance for
your Input Guys. :-)
Peace
Andrew.

Thanks Sheepteeth I am Soooo Excited I cant tell you. :-)
What Tyres would you recommend then and as its been so many many years since I
did anything like change Tyres and that, what Kit do I need for when the inevitable
happens to the bike and I need to give it some TLC. :-)
I will post photos of course.
Peace

i would probably stay with high rollers but go for a 2.3 instead of those big heavy 2.5 downhill tyres. the bike will feel alot swifter with lighter tyres trust me.
as i said, spare brake pads as you can never be sure when they will wer out and you dont want to be left waiting to ride you bike as you wait for the delivery of spare pads. i always reccommend ebc gold pads but i have just taken delivery of some supersatr pads and hope they are good as they are onlt 5.5 quid for a set!!
get some chain lube, wet at the moment then some dry when the weather gets better.
also, get some gt85 for help with cleaning the bike and it leaves a protective layer on the bike which will make it easier to clean in the future.
spare inner tubes and puncture repair kit. check which tubes you need and buy 2 spares to take out on the trail. use the repair kit when you get home or once you have use your 2 spares. fixing tubes takes too long on the trail in my opinion and requires a clean environment.
buy a good multi tool, spend as much as you can afford but look at around the 15-20 quid mark. i use a topeak and it was 18 quid but worth every penny as the tools attached are good quality and have performed faultlessly. makes sure it includes a chain tool.
apartf from that you shouldnt expect to need to keep a load of spares, if you thought you needed them, you wouldnt be trusting the bike and from your spec sheet, you have nothing to worry about0
