Marin Attack trail 2007 or Marin Mount Vision 2008

The subject says it all. Which one is best bearing in mind a £600 price difference. I ride normal stuff. You know trails , paths and downhills

    Attack trail. I've got the one you're talking about as did (does?) cheesey on this forum.
    The fact you mentioned downhills (even if not the proper DH type) says to me the attack trail.

    The component are more a less the same as for the Mount Vision.

    I'm going to be riding cwmcarn, afan, 7stanes and any trail centre i come across on the attack trail - with heavier and less suitable parts than come with the stock attack trail.
    If it can get up cwmcarn with me riding then i think it can be used for anything.

    As I don't race XC then i'd prefer something a bit stronger and happier with rocky decents than be light weight.
