Replace Slime Tubes after a puncture?

Morning all,

Just received a puncture on the way in this morning. Luckily I was only a quarter of a mile away from my destination at the time. Just got the bike back in the office and noticed that there was some of the Slime bubbled through the tyre (whatever punctured me must have been and gone). I've pumped the tyre up and it's holding at the moment.

My question is, should I replace the inner tube or will the Slime seal hold up forever (well until the next puncture anyway!)?

Phil

A little seepage of the mousse is how the tubes are intended to work. Till the time comes when the mousse fails to seal the tube then you're OK with them.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • That's the answer I was hoping for!!!

    Thanks
