I bought padded underwear, gloves and long sleeve jerseys in the autumn deal, and all have been excellent.

*cough* I think that might best be kept to pm's.

    ;)
  • I think that the Aldi stuff has been getting better over the years. The last pair of shorts I had there were excellent for the £5 they cost. The mitts have improved recently too, although I am not convinced that the gel is in the right place.

Aldi clothing seems to wear OK for me - certainly long enough that I have had value for money. I think it lasts about as well as any of the lower-end brands that I have tried, but costs a lot less. I can't comment compared to expensive kit, as I have never been able to justify that expense!

Yep, sure is. The fingerless summer gloves I bought weren't too special, but the winter ones, and all the rest of the stuff - great.

I also bought some aluminium water bottles; the cages were rubbish, but the bottles turned out excellent - still using those.

As someone posted on the bikeradar page, try on in store the sizing can be a bit "Adventurous"

I know everyone loves a bargain, but you have to ask yourself, how can they do it so cheap?

The clothing doesn't work for me and my needs, anyway, having tried both Lidl and Aldi stuff. I've had far more use out of my Endura gear, because it fits better, looks better, works better, and lasts longer.
  • However, it works just fine for the needs of many others. So anyone who aint tried it before...dont be put off giving it a go.
