I'm building myself a bike and welcome constructive comments/suggestions. Living in French-speaking area of Belgium, I have no-one to discuss this with. Anyway, I have the following components at my disposal:

Frameset: Trek Madone 5.2 (2006) (1477g)
Cassette: Ultegra 10-sp (11/23) (225g)
BB: Campag Centuar (Square Taper) (288g) - heavy
Crank: FSA Carbon Pro (53/39) (Square Taper) '(645g)
Chain: Ultegra 10-sp HG (275g)
Stem: Bontrager Race X lite (165g)
Bars: Bontrager Select (300g)
Seat Post: Unbranded Carbon (235g)
SPENT: £540'ish REMAINING BUDGET: SAME

I'm looking to upgrade the BB for a lighter (but reliable) model and to upgrade my bars.
Regarding the remaining components: could I use Campag or SRAM for the STI Levers, Brakes and Front Mech?
I want to go light but retain strength and reliability and am focusing my funds on a value for money lightweight/strong wheelset (any recommendations?).
Rgds,

Pincher
