Choice of two ex hire bikes

Hi all, looking for some opinions on above.
One is a Claude Butler Cape Wrath D27, hydro drakes etc, 1 year old with obvious signs of use. £220
The other is a Giant Yukon 9 months old, mech discs, Suntour fork but looks as if it's straight out of the box and still has the wee bits on the tyres too. £200
Both bikes offered by local bike shops with excellent reputation for the shop offering the Giant.
Opinions anyone?

i would prefer the claud butler if i was buying new so for that much discount, i could live with signs of use.
make sure you get a warranty with the bike for all of the mechanical parts and id go for that.0 -
remember, bikes and their parts are built to be used. I have quite a few second hand bits on my bike because you get more for your money.
also, being a hire bike it'll have been regually servicedTrain hard, ride easy0 -
the claud, little bit of tlc should get it looking mint again hopefully.0

Are we all agreed or is anyone going to be controversial and go for the Giant. To be honest I do like the CB and fancy the hydro brakes etc for another £200

Another vote for the Claud Butler."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0
