Not the greatest shock to be honest. Likelihood of a story within a week titled something like 'Cipo, I may re-sign with Ball' must be quite high bearing in mind all the faffing that went on before California.

Cyclingnews are reporting that he's in negotiations with Tinkoff to sign for them in time to ride Milan-San Remo on Saturday.

I think that it was always going to end in tears after some of the things he said the other week.

Tinkoff is hardly a bastion of cleanliness after some of the riders on their roster last year.
