I dont tend to go for the traffic light grandprix but Ive certainly overtaken a few rollers and countless "executive" cars under normal road conditions. Its always particularly nice to pass a convertible with the top down I tend to think "Im going faster than you, Im getting more breeze than you and Im paying diddly squat for the privilege " I think its just the convertible thing, its all about feeling the wind feeling closer to the elements etc and of course a bike just does it better.

I was eye-ball to eyeball with a loyus something or other once while on my M5 20-20. I think I left him standing 'cause he was just surprised to be eyeball to eye-ball with a cyclist.

Not an expensive car but probably got better acceleration than a Roller

Big Sports Motorbike with pillion - 30 mph on the flat - pillion looked over in surprise to see a cyclist there.

A group of us once gave a big motorbike a good run for his money coming off Axe Edge...

I know motorbikes aren't expensive, but faster than nearly all cars.

Not commuting but overtook around a motorbike at about 70kph the other day down a steep hill. The look he gave me afterwards (on the flat) was very funny!
