Specalized FSR XC

Hi All

I have a spec fsr xc and am thinking of upgrading the front forks. I am looking at the reba 85-110 or the revalation 100-130. Which would be better? I like the idea of the revelation but dont know what it would do to the handling given the extra travel. Any suggestions or other options?

Thanks

ChrisMac

i`ve got the same bike with 85-130mm coil revelations fitted. The handling is fine for me. Great forks.

again good forks if a tad heavy. (again good is relative as there are 3 damping platforms on the toras and the top one is the same as the rebas and revalations)

so which Toras do you have?

The base coil one with no real adjustment beyond a rebound lever and lock out

I swapped out my Toras for Reba SLs recently, they were heavier with tons of stiction, I think I got a bad set. The new forks are fantastic, I've had Revelations before (on an old Enduro) and these are pretty much the same thing, but slightly shorter travel. My Toras didn't seem to ever get more than about 70mm travel out of them and I'm 15 stone!
