Mech Hangers

I've been told that one of these is a handy thing to keep in my trail kit, thing is I'm not sure which one to buy, I have a 2008 GT Avalanche but can only see the hanger listed for 2006 and 2007 models online, could anyone tell me if this model will be suitable please?
