This is what happens when you ignore a squeak

Went for a 4 hour mudathon yesterday had a squeak from my drive that started about half an hour in to the ride thought it was just the chain full of grit lubed the chain and after a while it went away .

serviced the bike this morning and I found the problem the left hand bearing had seized and this is the result one knackerd chainset



mind you every cloud has an XT lining just ordered shiny new 08 chainset
