Freeride bike

I am sellin my current bike for around 1500 and this is the money i have to buy my new bike i need this bike for freeride but i will be doin xc as well any ideas preferably with pro pedal and fork travel adj any ideas??

    How "freeride" are you going? If your going big then you'll end up with something that's way to overkill for XC.

    Similarly if you're looking at the all-mountain bracket you may not be able to send those big gap jumps without doing some serious damage!

    Horses for courses...

    For a start I'd be looking at Marin Quake XLT; Specialized SL Trail; Scott Gambler FR. But out of those three there's only the Specialized I'd want to take on an XC run, and even then it would be a short one!
