Hi does anyone know the weight of this bike, in standard build. I have tried the cannondale website but it does not say for this model.

Also has anyone any experience of this bike. I have heard cannondales build quality maybe questionable on some models.

Thanks

Light bike but unsure regarding thier or other carbon bikes as the MBR magazine
had tested the Cannondale Scalpel Carbon 1

The rear left cahinstay broken and fell out ? Not bad for a £ 2,799.00p bike.

For the test review MBR Magazine March 2008

    Issue 26-02-2008

Still have my doubts regarding carbon bikes
or carbon moving parts on/off road use.

    Good Luck

Shouldn't be effected, the Rush has an alloy swingarm.

The scalpel failed due to carbon stays flexing to make a pivotless full sus...

The Rush is a superb bike and if I wasn't looking for a Trail bike come XC bike, rather than an XC bike come Trail, I'd have bought one!

I do more enduro /marathon type rides/races and contemplating the carbon rush 4. I currently have an 06 stumpy FSR. I dont know whether its worth looking at the model with the lefty or just the fox 100rlc. I know the latter got good reviews in what mtb or MBR.

grantway ive had a scott strike pro for 4 yrs now.. carbon frame, ali swingarm .. i ride xc and the frame is still in exellent condition.I spoke to scott and asked them on their view of longitivity.Their reply was its a frame for life unless it gets a real bad knock, however, the guy at scott said there are now carbon repair specialists in the uk.I have crashed a few times but the frame as exeeded my expectations and i would definatly buy carbon again.Hope ive helped with some of your doubts grantway.Sorry for going off post.
