Same Travel

I have a marin B-17 and i am thinking of upgrading the forks as they're not that great. at the moment they are 130mm travel. when i get a new fork does it have to 130mm as well or could i get away with 140mm?

    It's not necessarily the travel, but the axle to crown length that is important. Check what this is for both forks.
