another dreaded fork question

Im 'still' in the market to upgrade my 80mm manitou axel forks and Ive narrowed it down to three 100mm variants for some honest trail blazing.
My list reads
1- Magura Odur
2- Marzocchi xc 600
3- Rockshox reba sl
All around the samish price down here, all 100mm all very different. I have a sneaking suspicion the rockshox wiill win when put to the vote, but aesthetically, and because it has aroused my curiosity Id like the magura to win, although it seems a lot less available on the market than the others. Anyone got any advice? Cheers in advance, Tom

The Reba's just a brilliant fork! It's one of those easy recommendations...0

rebas or the maguras, I kow a few people with the odurs and they are very happy with them, I would go for the rebas myself.0

The Reba is the lightest and most adjustable. And probably most reliable as well!0

.......The Odur is supposidly quite a reliable fork. Plus its a different, even more so with the Magura Cusomisation Programme0

At 2kg though it gives a lot of weight away to the Reba! My Tora weighs the same as that!0

Yep theres bout a 300gramm difference, which I guess is like putting on an extra jumper. Im sure the reba is best, its just so an ashamedly boring though; and thats got to count for something?!!making it all up as i go along0

bear in mind 300 grams is over a half pound in weight!! i understand that the reba is common, but that is for a very good resaon, ive been running mine for ages and it is still buttery smooth and performs spot on.0

which I guess is like putting on an extra jumper
Nope, doesn't work like that. The jumper is spread all evenly over your body and isn't putting any strain on your limbs. The extra 300g on the front of your bike will be tugging on your arms everytime you pop the front up. It WILL notice!
Same argument about taking a dump before riding - makes not difference as it's 'on' or in this case 'in' the body...0 -
