Any Cove Shocker owners out there?

I just finished building my new Cove Shocker and was completely blown away by it this weekend. However I am trying to work out if it came with the right spring. I am 210lbs or 96kg in my kit and the TFTuned spring calculator recommends the 450 spring it came with. However the Mojo Fox spring calculator says 500lbs. I want a very plush 30+% sag as the bike is downhill only. So what springs are you Shocker owners around the same weight as me using?

The eye to eye is 240mm and with me on in kit it's 215mm so the sag is 25mm.

DOH! Sorry I have been up since 4.00am. The stroke is 3.0 and the spring is rated at 450lbs. The travel is 8.775 inches.

so stroke is 3" which is 75mm so you currently have 25mm sag which is 33% sorted.

Yes thanks for that the 450lbs should be fine. Guess the Fox and Mojo websites just confuse matters really. Like putting 3.25x450lbs on the spring when really they mean 3.0x450lbs! Well by the TFTuned calculator the spring is correct for me and they know what they are on about.

    Hey!

Finished mine on Saturday, it's a beast, needs taming and everything. Got battered at Cwmcarn this weekend just trying to keep up with it.

    I run a 550 x 3.25 on mine, but I'm a bit heavier than you at 100-105Kgs.

He's a pic of mine, I absolutly love it!

What size frame is that and how tall are you?

    It's a medium and I'm about 5' 8" - 5' 10" I think.

Frame seemed very short in the "cockpit" before it was built but the distance between grips and pedals it perfect for me and the sadle leans right back.

As it goes when my perminant seatpost arrvies this week I've got to cut it a little longer, my sadle can foul the back tyre at the moment.
