how to sort gears out?

hi, my gears were making my bike riding horrible...

i tried the, do it yourself way. (newbe) thats me, and voila :shock: IM STUCK. the part of the wire for the gears on the left of the handlebar (1-2-3)..er... i dont know how to put the end cable in the right place to stop the gears from not working .


I NEED HELP!! please :cry:

    depends what you've done and how fooked you've made it
  • basic side is, only took the cable out of the last part it goes through and forgot how i did it and how to re-do it and make the front 3 cogs work again.

    I've never been able to get my head around setting up gears. I'd go as far as saying they scare me! :o

    Take it back.If its a new bike it should be fixed for free.Asuuming you haven`t broken it,by interfereing..........
    If not its a cheap fix,normally £10-15.
