Tubs. 27" v 700c

Probably I should know this, but are tubs for 27" rims actually the "same" as for 700s - just stretched tighter? And if so does that make them REALLY difficult to fit?

Wiggle seems to say "the same".

    I thought tubs used to be marked as 28" many years ago.

    700 is the only size I use, Sprint rims only in the one size
    Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.

    Aren't 700s still referred to as "28"" elsewhere in Europe? Just that I've seen a pair of what are described as 27" sprints. Guess I'll find out if I buy them!
