confused about rear wheel fixings

hi, i have a giant reign frame with standard 135mm qr dropouts on the back. would a 135mm hub with a 12mm thru axle fit this frame? or would only a qr wheel fit

Only a QR or nutted axle.

'standard' rear axles are 10mm

so, for example, the mavic deetrax wouldnt fit?

if the hub is a Qq 10mm or a 10mm threaded or a 10mm through axle then yes.
