Shop with largest (women's) range in Berks/Surrey/London?

The question is in the title really. As some of you who read the classifieds know, I have been looking for a bike for my girlfriend. Now, not many shops hold a big range of women's bikes and she really wants to try before she buys... can anyone recommend anywhere (we live in Bracknell, Berks). The only place I can think of that holds much of a range is AW, so we'll probably head over there at some point. We can also get on the train to London so we might try trawling round the various branches of Evans... any other suggestions??

AW very much worth a visit for the help and advice.

Also worth a visit is Phil Corley's in MK. A friend has just bought a Spesh Ruby Expert from them.

Sigma Sport in Hampton Wick (train from Bracknell to Richmond then change onto train to Hampton Wick station) usually carries 2 or 3 women's bikes in stock. It might be best to phone them and find out what they have in stock before you travel though.

Evans have an big store on The Cut which is 5 mins walk from Waterloo (don't get confused and go to the store directly opposite Waterloo as that is their MTB specific shop) which normally displays at least 3-4 women's bikes in my experience.
  • There is a shop in Crowthorne called ibike which one of my clubmates swears by, but not sure what range of ladies bikes they do. May be worth giving them a call as it is local.

Cheers for advice so far... onehipwonder: if you look very closely at my avatar, you might just be able to make out the word 'iBike' across the front! I raced with them last season and they sell some nice kit, but it's only a small shop, so not loads of stock.
  • AW is good - but don't limit yourself to a womens bike, i have a mens Bianchi, which fits me perfectly.

Another vote for Phil Corley's in MK. But ring them first to check what they've got.
