New tyres

Put on some new tyres - my old ones were ancient and the tread on the back wheel was actually gone: as in there were white scratches, it was so dangerously worn down...

Whacked on some Schwalbe Stelvios (opinion)... it feels weird :P Obviously I'm used to my other tyres. These feel like more effort though, somehow. I assume I just have to get used to them?

Btw, how many miles till the new tyres are worn in do you think? I don't corner crazily anyway, but won't be going full pelt downhill for a few rides at least...

    I should think 100-200 miles will wear the gloss finish off them

    My bike came with these and I didn't like them that much. I only got about 1000 miles out of them before they were cut up badly and puncturing. Went back to my prefered GP4000's.

    Rave reviews elsewhere on the internet, my friend has one too. Better than my stock Zaffiros, comfortably.
