which £1k full suss bike should I buy

grateful for advice on which full suss bike to buy for around 1K. Ride mainly in the peak district. currently ride a HT and I am quite tall. Thanks, in anticipation of your assistance.

Giant Trance 3 or Specialized FSR and Trek Fuel EX7 are the obvious big name contenders.

Cheers. Will have a look. Still a little worried about how much the rear suspension may effect hill climbing. Should I be? The guy the shop said bobbing no longer exists due to the mechanism of the new rear suss.0

Trance 3 has the best linkage for eliminating bob, Fuel EX7 has the best suspension under braking. I'd ride those 2 if you can and make your mind up from there0
