well, assuming you can elbow your way through the massive scrum surrounding him
Seriously, it's a good day out, a good ride.
Lots of people out, all abilities and types of bikes, treating it as either a fast ride/short sportive or a slow charity ride and everything else in-between.
The Cat isn't that difficult, it goes on a bit but isn't ever that steep and keeps flattening out so can really be thought of as several hills rather than one big one.
What does catch people out are the hills back past Leek which are far tougher than you'd imagine.0 -
Did this last year, and will do again. Saw the crowd around Sean Kelly but not the man himself, still, a nice laid back event.0
