5050 axle size?

i'm about to order some cheap 5050xx's but it doesn't say anywhere what size axle they have.

are they 9/16" or 1/2"? I've got bikes that use both sizes, so i don't think I'm just being thick...

    should be 9/16" as they are MTB pedals.

    thanks. I absent mindedly clicked 'order' before anyone replied anyway...

    phew!

    and i know you reccomended not getting 5050's, but Winstanley are selling last year's xx's for £35 with free postage :)

    5050xxs are not as bad as a lot of people make out... i am now on my second pair and they are great - I have never had any work loose from the crank, never had any plates work free, no worries with the pins, grip is fine and they look better than any other flat out there imh.. but that's me.

    Not everyone is a fan - put it that way.
