This is a request for any women who would like to compete in the national team series road events.
Louise and Trevor Moore are continuing in their Regional team managers roll in 2008.
They have a few riders names already and are looking forward to involving any other women who are interested. Previous years have seen a good mix of experienced riders and those looking to develop in road racing.
The main events for the team will be the womens team series events spread throughout the season, and the Region is funding a large part of the commitment to competing in these events. (See the main BC website for details of these events.)
If you, or any women in your club, are based in the West Midlands and are interested in being selected for this team, do please get in touch with Louise Moore.
Please note that this is a Regional composite team for certain events only and riders will remain with, and compete for their own club team, at all other times.

The Regional team is again on the look out for any women that are interested in joining in with some racing. Most events in the womens series are fairly centrally located so travelling is not a major problem and the team managers are able to provide as much assistance as you need if you've not done much/any racing previously.
