Any reccomendations for spending upto £1400-ish on a full sus trail bike. I'm 6'3" and 17stone so it needs to be able to take the weight (suspension issues?)
Quite like:
- Specialized pitch pro
-Cannondale prophet 2
-Commencal 5.5.3
Anything else i'm missing?
Also anyone know of any shops in South Yorkshire area that has these (or others suggested) as demo bikes?
Cheers

The Prophet is similar to the Pitch - I would agree with Andy_B that they are both a little too much for pure trails, but if you want to try your hand at light AM riding they would be good.
I would also suggest you take a look at the Giant Trance range."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0 -
If you can stretch to the Meta 5.5.2 it's worth it for the better kit. I have seen some Commencal dealers not so very far north of South Yorkshire discounting upto 20% on this years models which would bring the 5.5.2 down to £1359.
I've ridden the 5.5.2 (2006) and got a 5.5.1 (2007) and it's been fantastic.Commencal Meta 5.5.1
