Sidi Genius road shoes

Just bought some of these shoes and looking at the instruction booklet it indicates that you should use Sidi bolts for fixing the cleats ( SPD-SL ) in my case.

There were none in the box and am concerned that if I use the wrong bolts I might go though the sole if they are too long ( the ones that came with the cleats ).

Am I being a bit over cautious?

    I think so. I don't use SPD-SL cleats but have the same shoes and have used them with both Look Keo and Time pedals and their cleats, and have just used the bolts that came with the cleats without any problem. (Haven't got them to hand but I think there were two sets of bolts with the Time cleats and I used the shorter set).
