In need of good cross country tyres that are cheap - advice?

Hi folks,

I had made a purchase on some Specialized resolution tyres from tredz but have just been told they are no longer in stock and no longer able to get them back in. I'm now at a loss as to what I can get that's a decent mid-range cross-country tyre.

I didn't want to spend much but my current Specialized fast traks are lethal (i've come off twice in 3 weeks) and should really only be used in the dryest of conditions :roll:

    alright alright calm down spiderman. my choice would probably be high roller xc from crc but i'm not too knowledgeable about xc tyres.
