Aldi for £2.99 do me at the moment, doing me fine. You don't have to spend a fortune on glasses.0

I love my M-frames. i've picked a few different lenses for them up via ebay. there's some really good deals out to be had on them now.
a very comfortable pair of glasses that you forget are there. the spuik glasses look good value for money and come with various lenses too.0 -
The DHB ones are fine unless you have a wide head, in which case they're very uncomfortablepm0
-
Cheap and cheerful PRO Jetstreams for me... Added bonus that they also come with Smoked, Clear, Yellow and Orange lenses....

If you get a mate to order some gear from Wiggle, and he doesn't want them, you can bag them for free, through the referral thing.

Spiuk make some good ones. Love mine. Wouldn;t pay the top whack for Oakleys etc as usually only get a year or two out of a pair before breaking them somehow!0

Anything is better than Tifosi, total rubbish imo.0

Just to throw another type in the mix. I have BBB's with 3 changeable lenses, clear, yellow and dark and think they're great.
The Pro Race ones on PBK broke after two weeks. The frame cant handle the stress of changing the lenses.Every winner has scars.0 -
A vote for dhb's here too, picked up a set of the triple lens insert ones a wee while back and they've been great so far in keeping all the crud off the road out of my eyes!

Thanks for all the advice guys. Fancy a pair of Rudy Project glasses. Been checking their website out. They seem to have a dizzying array of lenses to choose from. Slightly confused
Does anyone know of a shop in the Central London / City area that stocks Rudy. Would be great to check them out in person ???
Thanks again0 -
I think Condor stock Rudy Project in London...
I've got a pair of RP Ekynox with interchangable smoke & clear lenses.
Highly recommend!0 -
cool. Thanks for that. I'll pop over to Condor0

I got the Oakley Five's because WHEN I sit on them, the arms pop out.... and you just pop them back in! Also, they're good for those with narrow heads.
Other than that Tifosi Slips with the variable tint, you never seem to squint. until you loose them that is! :oops:http://twitter.com/mgalex

Another vote for Rydons. Mine have inserts and they work well. Great lenses - orangy to increase definition in low light going dark grey when it gets bright, so I find I don't need to consider getting other lenses.

Really fancy a pair of Rydons.
Yak, the lenses you have got are they good for everyday riding ie: changable light / low light etc ??
Are they the multilaser Orange lenses or the Photochromic Red ones ?
Cheers
J0 -
Hi, they are fine for everyday conditions. When you take them off things look bluish for a minute, but that's not a problem. They are photochromic but are a lightish orange rather than red.
I got them from an optician in Woodford in the dead end bit of Snakes Lane East next to the station and the optician Ralph was incredibly helpful with excellent fast service. I can't remember the name of the place, it might be Sher and Laskey.
Good luck.

cool, thanks for the help Yak

To treat myself in a time of bad weather, not enough miles as i'd like and maybe to encourage the sun to say hello, I ordered the above glasses.
They arrived this morning. I wanted to try blue lenses. I've never liked the yellow lens of my old bloc's, I orderd these from wiggle and it rained :roll:http://twitter.com/mgalex
