The new one has better brakes and crank/bottom bracket. But the old one is good value - you could put a better crank on with the change.0

For $10 less than the 2008 Avalanche, you could get a 2007 Zaskar Expert from Pauls Cycles.0

i know but i think i prefer the sturdyness of the avalanche or am i being stupid? what one would you spend the £ on?0

Sturdy, slacker angles, or lighter and racier is the decision.0

would i not be better buying the 08 so i get better brakes included?0 -
They are only slightly better, but better. Its the Powerspline crank/bottom bracket thats a bit crap.0
