Any advice:P
Dont want to spend too much, just an average sized bladder and a little bit of room for some tools, food and maybe a jacket.
Any help?
Thanks

I have a Camelbak Chaos - holds all of the above with a 2 ltr bladder. It's supposed to be a "freeride" pack but I like because it just feels tougher and well made. Nothing wrong with the regular camlebaks when viewed on their own but their more hardcore ones like the Chaos are brilliant!

Dakine Nomad, its pricey, £60, but you get what you pay for. Oh and i sold my 07 Camelbak to get one and it was so worth it....about a million times more comfy when loaded as the Mules have thin straps.0

I have one of these:

It's very light and comfortable and I can fit all my basic tools in it. The straps at the back are endlessly usefull too.
And with my experience of camelbacks.. They water tanks are shite, I've had 3 and they've all made my water taste like cow dung... With hydrapak... Not a single glitch, ever.
Well made too.0 -
I've got the 2L Gelert one, but they do different sizes...

It's interesting how many competitors to Camelbak there are now - a few years ago it seemed like it was Camelbak or nothing, and now there are loads of them! Did the Camelbak patent run out, or were the competitors just slow out of the blocks?0
